The cool kids of Copenhagen Fashion Week street style know how to wear bright colors and outfits that feel downright fun. But in addition to their eclectic style, the Scandinavian fashion set has mastered mixing practical wintertime footwear with their vibrant style, too.
And while inclement weather didn’t stop a handful of fashion show goers from stepping out in pointy stilettos or high-heeled boots. While there were a few brave soles sporting open-toe silhouettes, the majority opted for stylish iterations of snow and rain-ready winter-proofed boots.
Light blue lug soled Chelsea boots were used as a pop of color to brighten up looks made up of grey tailoring, and ocean blue rubber ankle boots contrasted pastel trousers. Moon boots also made a handful of appearances, coupled with plaid midi skirts, fashionable fleeces, and acid wash jeans. And most memorable was a pair of yellow and purple lace-up duck boots worn with printed catsuits and patchwork knitwear. All of this to say, there’s no need to give up personal style for practicality.
